Thanks, was hurting earlier but the reversal killed all those naked puts. So looking pretty good now, liquidation value back over 1M$.

I sold many calls (K=855 on CBOE) in the last 5 minutes i.e. at 3:55 PM which should have expired by now..But TWS still shows some close values for the options... Shouldnt they expire worthless? Can you throw some light on this?

Hey chanti, not sure about what options you are talking about. Stock options expire tomorrow. Do you mean SPX futures options? It actually takes a day for expired options to settle, they are worthless unless they expired in the money. Cheers,

sorry .. I was talking about SPX Index options .. thanks ..

chanti, I am not extremely familiar with futures options but I think that they actually expire at the open tomorrow morning. I'm not certain but I don't think any options expire today.

Look here:
http://www.cboe.com/Strategies/IndexOptions/BuyingSPXPuts/part1.aspx

"AM-settled: the exercise settlement value is calculated using the first (opening) reported sales price in the primary market of each component security on the last business day (usually a Friday) before the expiration date. The cash settlement amount is equal to the difference between the exercise settlement value and the exercise (strike) price of the option, multiplied by $100. Exercise will result in delivery of cash on the business day following expiration. "

This is crazy. I thought moneyness is calculated based on Thursday's closing... So from my understanding .. it is calculated based on Fridays opening value of the Index .. Oh man . if that is the case .. I am kind of in trouble ..I need to wait until tomorrow ..
