Traveling Wilburys

Ever since Tim Knight put up put up a Traveling Wilburys video on his blog I keep finding myself going back to watch these again and again. The group included an unbelievable lineup: George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan. They aren't all with us today, but their music lives on. This is great stuff.

I love it.

Donnie Darko (Tears for fears - Head over heels)

This is one of my favorite scenes ever and it starts with one of the most famous long takes in modern film. This scene from Donnie Darko is choreographed beautifully to another great song from Tears for Fears, Head Over Heels. I think it really captures what middle school in suburban America was like for me.
