Spreeder!

I found this awesome bookmark on reddit today. It literally allows you to instantly read at much higher speeds than would normally possible. You copy and paste the text from something you want to read and spreeder displays the words one at a time in big font at 300 wpm. You can change the number of words displayed at a time and the font and the speed but the default settings worked great for me. As a test I suggest you copy and paste this hilarious article into spreeder, you'll be done in just over two minutes. Very, very cool. I've added the link on link on the left.

Ron Paul Told Us So

Click on the image to get a better view, I think the consensus now is that Ron Paul wasn't the crazy kook America thought he was. Here is the source for more commentary.

Jaws Spotted

" South Beach on Martha's Vineyard was closed for a short time, and swimmers were kept out of the water at State Beach in Edgartown, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation said.

A plane was dispatched to try to confirm the sighting, but no shark was spotted, said Lisa Capone, a spokeswoman for the state Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs." -Source, -images

Rothbury Music Festival

As previously mentioned, I went to Rothbury music festival for July 4th last weekend and it was incredible. Never could I of have dreamed of such an amazing experience. The music was phenomenal on so many levels and the style of the festival and the people, just wow. I'm going to be uploading a ton of videos and pictures over the next few weeks from the festival and I'll post some here. Let me start with something that stopped me dead in my tracks every night I was there. This apparatus was on the road back to our campsite and involved a gang of chimpanzees swinging around on a jungle gym in the latest hours of the evening. This was filmed at around 3 am:

This was something I have been waiting for, for a long, long time. The Disco Biscuits played Run Like Hell, probably my favorite or at least top three Pink Floyd songs. Not only did they play it, they destroyed it and the crowd went ape shit. Notice the epic glowstick war going on:

Much more later...

Darth Vader Being a Smartass

In other news, questions are being raised about the possibility of the Death Star attack being an inside job.

Shark! (end of video a day)

That was one of the biggest nurse sharks I've seen, definitely in the Virgin Islands. Unfortunately, it was nowhere near as big as the man eating reef shark we saw at the same dive site last year. I was a motionless zombie the moment I saw that one and was unable to capture it on film. Maybe next year!

Ok well that concludes this year's installment of "A Video A Day," I hope you've enjoyed watching as much as I enjoyed filming! A brief comment, yesterday's Yonder Mountain videos were not filmed by me nor was I in them, I ran out of space on my camera well before that show. But I was definitely going crazy during "Crazy Train," and quite a bit closer to the stage. I'll be sure to get some Yonder Mountain video this weekend at Rothbury. Until then, cheers! -py
