Congrats to the IB Olympiad competitors

I just wanted to take a minute to congratulate all the competitors in this year's Olympiad for getting through to the end. This thing requires many hours/days/months of time and often stress so you guys deserve a rest. Even if you didn't come out ahead I expect that you learned a lot from this year's competition, but I want to especially congratulate those who ended up with a gain this year. It was decisively red market this year during the Olympiad, I think the S&P dropped something like 25% from high to low. So if you made money you are beating 90% of investors out there. We won't know the final rankings for probably a month or so and I don't expect to be doing much more posting about the Olympiad until then.

I hope do do this again next year, but it ultimately will be up to IB to pull through and continue the competition in tough economic times. So again, congrats and be sure to treat yourselves to something nice this weekend now that this thing is over!
